Privacy Policy & Service Terms for ECUPROGRAM
Effective Date: March 2, 2026
At ECUPROGRAM, we provide high-performance tuning and ECU remapping. This policy outlines how we handle your data and the specific requirements for our tuning services.
1. Information We Collect
To provide custom tuning, we collect:
-
Customer Details: Name, email (contact@ecuprogram.com), and phone number.
-
Vehicle Data: VIN, mileage, engine modifications, and current ECU software versions.
-
Technical Data: Website cookies and analytics to improve our online experience.
2. Mandatory Vehicle Condition Requirements
Before any tuning or remapping service is performed, the client acknowledges the following:
-
Zero Mechanical Issues: The vehicle must be in sound mechanical condition.
-
No Check Engine Light (CEL): We will not tune a vehicle with an active CEL or existing engine/transmission fault codes.
-
Pre-Tune Inspection: ECUPROGRAM reserves the right to refuse service if the vehicle is deemed unfit for performance modification. Tuning a mechanically unsound vehicle can lead to component failure.
3. Refund & Satisfaction Policy
We stand behind our software, but performance tuning is a specialized service.
-
14-Day Limit: Any requests for adjustments or refunds must be made within 14 days of the original service date.
-
Reversion to Stock: If a refund is processed, the vehicle’s ECU will be flashed back to its original factory settings.
-
Exclusions: Refunds are not provided for mechanical failures unrelated to the software or for "change of mind" after the 14-day window has closed.
4. Data Sharing and Security
-
Third-Party Engineers: We may share encrypted ECU files with our master engineers to create your custom map. Your personal identity remains protected.
-
No Data Sales: We do not sell your personal or vehicle data to third parties.
