Drive-ability: Comfort mode remains refined and smooth for daily use, while Sport+ and Race modes offer razor-sharp throttle response and aggressive power delivery.
Factory Safety: All fail-safes—including knock detection, oil temperature limits, and limp-mode protection—remain 100% active.
🔧 Recommended Maintenance
To safely support 700+ HP, we recommend the following for M157 owners:
Spark Plugs: Upgrade to NGK 97506 "Step 1 Colder" plugs, gapped to 0.022".
Fuel: Strictly 93 Octane (98 RON) is required for advertised performance.
Oil Service: Reduce intervals to every 5,000 miles using high-quality synthetic (MB 229.5).
